Starting time create a Sim in CAS and save all your custom swatches, so relieve the Sim to the library. At present, when you're creating a new Sim in CAS in any salvage game, you can temporarily add the saved "swatch template Sim" from the library and the custom swatches will be available to the unabridged household. Once you are washed adding the desired makeup you can delete the swatch Sim. The workaround takes a bit more endeavor if yous want to use information technology with a played Sim. First bring up the cheat box and type testingcheats true and then cas.fulleditmode. Shift+click your Sim and become to "Alter in CAS," then add the swatch Sim from the library and put the makeup on the played household. Remember to delete the actress Sim before going back to alive mode. One slight annoyance I found is that if you save a Sim to the library with any alterations to the sliders, it automatically creates a "phantom swatch" attached to that Sim, even if you oasis't really clicked the "+" to save it. And then information technology will e'er announced (as a saved swatch) whenever you lot add that Sim to a household. |

Much simpler than having to use this workaround every time I demand a slider choice I wanted to utilize across saves. I mean, yeah, it's a uncomplicated solution simply if you lot forget and don't salvage some experiment that you barbarous in love with, yous'll end upwardly regretting it... or if you forgot which Sim had it and didn't remember to add together it to your Swatch Template Sim? I know EA was probably trying to curb the issues Sims 3 had with the color wheel and CAP but information technology's still kind of abrasive. Like, you could have one save that you continually relieve as so you keep your settings (and lots, lol) merely and then any time some issues crops up that isn't repaired in older saves, only newer ones, you lot become stuck with that. At least this is a useful workaround. |

I forgot about this but I wonder if deleting the LocalThumbCache.package file will solve that trouble? I hope so, because that'south going to exist very annoying if y'all're just playing effectually with some things and you actually don't want to keep the results. If yous're in CAS a lot and play with a lot of ladies who utilise makeup, this could become a sizable amount of unnecessary information which will get worse if you like using your library for your townies. :( |

Although I'chiliad glad to have the slider option, I agree that cc swatches are simpler and I volition probably keep using them because of the things you mentioned. |
